About the Instructor Marie Tanabe

I have been happily involved in music for over 30 years. I received my bachelor’s degree in Music, and have taught private and group piano, elementary music grades K-8, Kindermusik and Musikgarten. My favorite age to teach is the young child. Igniting the wonder and musical creativity at an early age sets young children up for a lifetime of musical enjoyment. It’s through fun and engagement that we learn best, which is what Musikgarten is all about. Looking forward to meeting you and your child soon!
